This hotel has a lot of character and charm, just like the reviews said. The rooms are decorated with unique local artwork and have beautiful original windows that provide a view of the old architecture in the neighborhood. The wooden plank floors and tall ceilings add to the overall ambiance. The location is great, just a block or two from the historic area and in a neighborhood with lots of character.
All in all, everything was okay during my stay at this hotel.

It's location was perfect as it was about two blocks from the historic center (down one hill and up the other) with its sights and restaurants and street scene. There were also music studios around, so the area was full of music from mid-morning to night!
The staff spoke little English but were helpful nonetheless. The surroundings of the hotel itself aren't going to pass any cleanliness test but I think that's true, generally, of Salvador.

This hotel has an excellent location in the midst of the Pelourino. Room was very spacious. It can be noisy facing the street but is part of the excitement of the location. Excellent breakfast is served in your room.

Great vibe, amazing location, and good breakfast. I recently stayed at a hotel in Salvador and I can say that the location of the hotel is superb. the festivals were just a short walk away and the market was also within walking distance. the breakfast was delicious, offering an array of fruits, breads, cheeses, meats. the patio on the backside of the hotel where breakfast was served was beautiful and relaxing.
Subpar facilities and uncomfortable room. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the subpar facilities and uncomfortable room.

This colonial-style hotel offers a prime location close to a Baroque church, in a safe area, and with easy access to the beautiful island of Morro do Sao Paulo. the rooms are charming and clean, with attentive service and a delicious breakfast that includes local food and cake. Guests can also enjoy transfers to other places at no additional cost.
Some guests have reported noise from the street and stairs that can be difficult to navigate with heavy suitcases.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a charming neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money and the attention to detail. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the basic amenities provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location, just off the main square, was perfect for exploring the city and I loved having a view of the nearby church from my window. The breakfast, although not included, was a delicious start to the day in the alfresco eating area.
Everything was beyond my expectations.

very spacious apartment, friendly staff and central location.
kitchenette did not include hob, kettle or cooking facility. This didnt matter so much for us, however it was advertised as having a kitchenette so a little misleading.
